#SomewhereSocial: January

We’re all about starting new for the new year, but some things are just too good to give up. This month, we’re rounding up our oldie but goodie Los Angeles favorites. Sometimes it’s great to try something new, but sometimes you want the reliability of your favorite corner spot where they greet you by name.

Larchmont Village Wine & Cheese

If you know about the sandwiches at Larchmont Village Wine, Spirits & Cheese, then you know why it’s the first on our list. If you don’t know, put this at the top of your to-do list for the coming weekend. Open since 1995 on Larchmont Boulevard, this family owned local shop has been serving up some of the best deli sandwiches Monday through Saturday. Served on their daily fresh baked ciabatta or baguette, you can’t go wrong with any order.

We’re always on the hunt for the perfect after-works drink spot. The Roger Room is a classic, with dimly lit booths, elegant handcrafted cocktails and vibes reminiscent of a bar in NYC. Think of it as an upscale dive bar, small enough to feel cozy and intimate, but elegant enough to show off to a visiting friend. Our favorites are the El Gordo & Japanese Maple.

Sunset Tower

Somewhere Social Los Angeles January 2019 Edition

The Tower Bar at Sunset Tower 8358 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90069

There isn’t that much more that needs to be said about The Tower Bar at Sunset Tower other than it is iconic LA. It’s on the same list as other LA institutions Chateau Marmont, Dan Tana’s and The Polo Lounge, with arguably the best ambiance of them all.

Women’s March Los Angeles

For the third year in a row, the women of Los Angeles will take to the streets of downtown to express themselves and speak up for what they believe in. If you’ve participated before, you know how inspiring and encouraging it is to join together with thousands of men and women in a shared voice of advocacy. The march begins from Pershing Square at 10am towards City Hall.
