How long have you worked at Something Social?
I have worked at Something Social for 6 months now!
Tell us about a day in the life of an account coordinator.
Typically my day starts off by checking my tasks for the day and getting organized. After that it is pretty unpredictable! I could be heading to a photoshoot, running to a meeting, or just staying put in the office!
In your spare time you…
Recently, I have been spending a lot of time in Hermosa and Redondo beach. I love to ride bikes, walk on the boardwalk, and check out all of the cute bars and restaurants down there. Also, when I’m feeling extra sporty, I love to play tennis! Other than that, I just like to relax and spend time with my close friends + family. 🙂
Something Social is basically a one-stop shop for all content management and creation for clients. How do you manage it all and where do you draw your inspiration from for content?
It is a lot, but it’s easy when you love what you do! Plus, I have great managers who help me balance it all. As for inspiration, I get a lot of ideas by exploring new places and traveling. It is also easy coming up with fresh ideas when you work in a such collaborative environment with creative people.
What’s your favorite thing about working for Something Social?
One thing that is super important to me is that I never dread coming into work, which I think is rare for most people and is something I feel very fortunate about. Other than that, my favorite thing about working for Something Social is the amazing people that surround me and support me!
Your dream job would be (besides a Digital Specialist at Something Social of course)…
I grew up thinking that I wanted to do something in fashion, but after a few fashion internships I realized that that wasn’t the case. For the most part, I was one of those people who never really had a specific dream job in mind. All I wanted was a job that I didn’t hate and allowed me to be creative. So I guess I am already at my dream job!
What is your idea of the perfect gram?
My idea of the perfect gram is pretty simple. I am all about minimalism in the photo, and all the creativity in the caption. Preferably something witty or humorous that will make you think a little bit.
Favorite place in LA?
Prank Bar in Downtown. It’s a cute little open-air walk up bar that holds a special place in my heart. I met the the owner, a man named Lucky, at it’s soft opening last year and since then it’s been my favorite weekend spot (whenever I feel like making the trek downtown.)
