How long have you worked at Something Social?
June 15th was my one year!
Tell us about a day in the life of an Account Director.
No day is the same and that’s why I love my job! One day might be full of emails and copywriting and the next I’m completely out of the office on a shoot. No matter what though, the day always starts with coffee!
In your spare time you…
Relax! There’s nothing like kicking back with some wine and Netflix while online shopping. If I’m not doing that I’m hitting a happy hour with friends or vintage shopping.
You’re basically a one-stop shop for all content management and creation for your clients. How do you manage it all and where do you draw your inspiration from for content?
Balancing it all has definitely been a challenge… I have a lot of lists. Luckily, we work in a very collaborative office and I draw inspiration from all of the women around me. I’m also consciously trying to take more weekend trips to recharge and see new places. I recently just spent a night in Palm Springs and even though it was such a short trip I came home completely inspired.
What’s your favorite thing about working for Something Social?
Hands down the people. I’m so obsessed with everyone who works here that getting to do something creative that I love is a perk.
Your dream job would be (besides Account Director at Something Social of course)…
It’s always been a goal of mine to have my own side business, I love the idea of having my own “thing” as a creative outlet that I can focus on and get excited about. Whether that’s creatively helping small business owners or running a fashion blog is still tbd!
What is your idea of the perfect gram?
For me it’s all about the caption. I like easy wit and a little sarcasm.
Favorite place in LA?
I can’t pick just one. I love a rooftop with good drinks, good views, and my favorite people.
